BootsnAll Editorial Calendar
We’re all about embracing change here at BootsnAll. While we’ve had a successful run with our feature articles over the past, we are changing our focus going forward. With the launch of the Indie Travel Manifesto, everything we publish from here on out will relate to at least one (preferably more) statement of the manifesto. We have had themed weeks in the past, and we may continue that, but for now we want to focus on a few different ideas and themes before we bring our editorial calendar back into the mix.
Article ideas/themes
- Transformational Stories - stories or personal experiences of people who did a RTW/Indie Trip - and came out the other side a different, happier person
- RTW Itineraries - Have you been on a RTW trip (or a long-term trip - you don’t have to actually circumnavigate the globe)? We don’t just want an “I went here, I went there, then I went here” stories, but we are interested in publishing stories highlighting your RTW trip. What did you love about it? What was the most indie destination you went to or experience you had? Why should others planning a RTW trip want to read about your experiences? What stands out and makes your trip unique?
- Did you take a RTW/long-term trip and keep going?
- Adding more travel to your current life
- Live like the locals
- Prepping/planning for a RTW/long-term indie trip
- Stories that embody one or two themes of the Indie Travel Manifesto
If you have specific ideas that can fall into these themes, or better yet, if you have some ideas for an ongoing column that fits into the ideals of the Indie Travel Manifesto, then we want to hear from you. Fill out an article pitch form, and we’ll get back to you.
