Writer’s Newsletter
Okay, so you’ve got a few articles under your belt. Or maybe you’re a new BootsnAll writer, kind of testing your pen for the first time. Maybe you want to be the next Hemingway, Bryson or Theroux; maybe you just want to jaw a little about what you did during that last trip. No matter; BootsnAll occasionally puts together a Writers’ Newsletter, geared exclusively for our contributors.
Only BootsnAll writers - people who have contributed at least one story to BootsnAll - will be subscribers (and if you don’t want to receive it, unsubscribing is easy). So this is your newsletter, and it will be filled with things that you as a travel writer care about. You’ll get one every few months. Here are some of the things we want to include:
- Profiles of BootsnAll writers (get your 15 kilobits of fame)
- Bios of reknown travel writers (though given the above, this could be redundant)
- Storytelling tips (tell it as you want, the best way you can)
- Book recommendations (nuts-and-bolts stuff like grammar and style guides, to really fun stuff like new travel writing anthologies)
That’s not all, though. We have lots of bits and bobs in mind, lots of things to give you a fun and informative newsletter, but as we start putting everything together, we also want to know what you want. Email us and let us know what you would like to see in your newsletter. We can’t wait to start getting your ideas.
